Dr. Joseph E. Noonan, Jr,

Bio: Dr. Joseph E. Noonan, Jr.

Dr. Noonan who is board-certified, has recently moved his practice from Bristol County, MA, to Rhode Island.  He has medical staff privileges at Roger Williams Medical Center. 

Dr. Noonan attended medical school and completed a five-year orthopedic residency at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO.  He has since received additional training with a one year fellowship in shoulder surgery at the W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic/Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX and sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Noonan is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the New England Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.

He has worked extensively with the Philadelphia Eagles professional football team and the Philadelphia Flyers and Phantoms hockey teams.  He has also served as an evaluating physician at the National Football League Combine.
